Melanie has been working professionally within the film industry since 2006.  Starting as a Art department runner and morphing into a stand-by Art Director over night.  With a passion for horror movies and thrillers she has managed to keep herself within the means of her favorite movies . She Art Directed the first Hammer Horror come back which was the online series of Beyond the Rave. Having studied fine art at university and fusing together her love of the macabre making a living on horror films comes naturally to her.  She has been fortunate enough to have helped out on friends films in the USA and has worked in Morocco. Melanie prefers working on Feature films and music videos but has also built up a body of work from online series, short films and events. She has worked for the spoof American company Asylum and has made a contribution to a collection of known British Horror directors.

More recently Melanie has directed some music promos, her first for band Rolo Tomassi got it's way onto MTV and her first short film SWITCH is going down a storm at festivals in the UK and USA.  Including FILM 4's FRIGHT FEST, VISCERA (usa ) BIRDS EYE VIEW- BLOODY WOMEN.


If there is an opportunity then Melanie is the first one trying to make it happen, her hard work and dedication has opened many doors for her and she is forever delving into new styles and visuals, making money go far on screen and focusing on the directors vision. Her Production design work has an attention to detail and a strong contrast . Her directing debut has pushed her into the sight of her dreams of making her own horror feature films.
